Major Duties: * Plans project management activities for systems development and maintenance projects, including planning and scope definition, managing tasks, monitoring budgets, monitoring and reporting progress, setting priorities, adjusting schedules, and managing emergency situations. * Supports IT project implementation by utilizing tools to support requirements management, source code management, test and release management, and project management and implements and coordinates activities with clients and other DIT support areas. * Monitors contractor performance, reviews and evaluates contractor deliverables, and reviews contractor invoices, develops contractual documentation (Statements of Work (SOWs), and Statements of Objectives for acquisition of IT systems, equipment, and services required for the project. * Provides requirement definition, including the analysis of business processes and documentation of functional requirements. Coordinates the development, including coding, configuration, integration, unit testing, and test automation of software and database components. * Performs studies on subjects of interest to the Corporation and writing position papers recommending corporation policies and reviews project deliverables with FDIC and non-FDIC clients to ensure they meet requirements and working with clients to meet expectations. * Coordinates information system project activities with FDIC and non-FDIC clients, including planning, requirements analysis, testing, and implementation tasks. Qualifications Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade CG/GS 12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience includes performing the planning, implementation, management, and coordination of full systems lifecycle activities for no code/low code SaaS/PaaS solutions (e.g. Salesforce, Appian, ServiceNow) with applied use of Agile development methodologies.
