Bio-Rad is seeking a project manager to join the Global Talent Development team, focusing on Diversity and Inclusion (D&I). The candidate should be a highly motivated and proactive project manager who is passionate about D&I. The primary responsibility of the project manager is to manage the initiation, planning, execution, and completion of key D&I projects and initiatives. This role reports to the D&I Program Manager within the Global Talent and Development (GTD) team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional team members, Human Resource Business Partners and other key stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Establishes and updates project plans/timelines, metrics and project documentation.
  • Delivers complete projects on time, on budget, and within specifications, and report progress to key stakeholders.
  • Ensures thoroughness, accuracy, and high quality project execution.
  • Monitors progress to make sure that milestones are being met across the various initiatives and programs and help coordinate their interdependencies.
  • Creatively manages and uses resources across various initiatives and programs.
  • Partners with key team members on analytics including tracking metrics, generating reporting to show trends, and communicating impact across projects and initiatives.
  • Leverages well developed interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive working relationships with cross-functional team members and key stakeholders.
  • Helps with research on D&I issues, identify external trends, and create POV documents and research summaries.

 

Qualifications

 

  • BA/BS Degree required - in Human Resources or related field.
  • 5+years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years experience in Diversity and Inclusion projects and/or program initiatives.
  • Project management training and certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.
  • Proficient in standard project management tools (e.g., work breakdown structures, Gant charts, critical path analysis) to document and communicate project plans.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience coordinating multiple work streams simultaneously and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Solid analytical skills including data collection and synthesis.
  • Able to deal with moderate to high levels of uncertainty.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and excitement to help make improvements where needed.
