CityFleet's Green Fleet Transition has sparked an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead the charge in managing the daily operations, coordination, and financial oversight of Portland's dynamic liquid, gaseous, and electric fuel programs. As a Fuel Coordinator, you will:
• Support the smooth day-to-day functioning of the City's fuel programs. This includes monitoring fuel levels, scheduling fuel deliveries, and managing fuel inventory. • Monitor fuel card issuance and management, ensuring that authorized users have access to the necessary fuels and tracking their usage. • Coordinate the operation and maintenance of the city's nine fuel stations, ensuring their proper functioning and promptly addressing any operational issues as they arise. • Ensure that all fuel-related activities comply with relevant regulations, such as the OR State DEQ permit requirements, and process the reporting and documentation necessary to meet those regulations. • Manage data related to fuel and charging, including tracking usage, costs, and efficiency. This might also involve entering data into a database or system. • Oversee the electric vehicle charging program, including coordination with charging service vendors and supporting the expansion and maintenance of charging infrastructure. • Provide support for new charging infrastructure projects, including the installation of charging stations and "make ready" infrastructure to support electric vehicle charging. • Deliver excellent internal and external customer service regarding programs and services related to the unit; compile, research, and evaluate customer service complaints and issues; identify areas of concern and develop recommendations for solutions and improvements. • Facilitate the delivery of services, products, and projects to the public, other governmental agencies, and private industry through collaborative efforts with City staff, management, and external partners, ensuring comprehensive support and fostering cross-sector collaboration.
About the Bureau: CityFleet, housed within the Division of Asset Management (DAM) of the City of Portland's Office of Management and Finance, consists of approximately 82 staff dedicated to providing a comprehensive fleet management program. Their responsibility is to fulfill the vehicle and equipment needs of City customers efficiently and affordably, ensuring safety, reliability, and cleanliness. This includes maintaining approximately 4,000 assets, encompassing electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, renewable natural gas vehicles, and renewable diesel vehicles. Job Description
The University of Nevada, Reno seeks a dynamic professional to fill the Specialist, Communication position for the Office of the President.
The Specialist, Communication is responsible for managing the communication, web, and social media platforms for the Office of the President ensuring the highest standards. This position manages incoming inquiries, comments, and concerns and writes emails, letters, and other tailored correspondence in response. The Specialist must represent the President with appropriate tone and style. The Specialist recognizes individual political sensitivity, trending issues, and personalized nature required of each communication. The Specialist also serves as an event coordinator for the Office of the President with responsibility to ensure the details of the event are well planned and executed and the President is well-prepped for his event obligations.
The position will additionally analyze and prepare data on behalf of the President for internal decision-making and reports to the Board of Regents and other University stakeholders. This position will provide executive support to the Chief of Staff and will support the Director of Special Projects and Assistant to the President on priority projects and needs.
The Specialist will demonstrate an attention to detail, professional attitude, ability to maintain confidentiality, and ability to keep pace with a fast-paced work environment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of related work experience; OR
Master's degree and one (1) year of related work experience.
Related Experience: communications, marketing, events or administrative operations or related field.

Job Description
The University of Nevada, Reno seeks a dynamic professional to fill the Specialist, Communication position for the Office of the President.
The Specialist, Communication is responsible for managing the communication, web, and social media platforms for the Office of the President ensuring the highest standards. This position manages incoming inquiries, comments, and concerns and writes emails, letters, and other tailored correspondence in response. The Position
The City Auditor’s Office is seeking an Elections and Special Programs Manager who will primarily oversee the Elections Office and lead or collaborate on other special projects office wide. The Manager will use strong project management skills to manage the current elections, campaign finance, and lobbying functions of the Elections Office while planning for the expansion of the Elections Office from City charter reforms approved by voters in 2022. These include changing how Portlanders vote (by district through ranked-choice voting) and introducing a new set of responsibilities for the Auditor’s Office to administer periodic voter education beginning in 2025. While elections will be the key focal point of this Manager’s portfolio, no prior experience in elections is required as the staff this position oversees will serve as the Elections Officer and content experts. Instead, we are looking for a seasoned project manager and supervisor, who also has experience working with policies and/or legal regulations. Additionally, it is preferred that the incumbent has experience conducting investigations.
The Elections and Special Programs Manager will report to the Chief Deputy Auditor and supervise the Elections Officer and Elections Coordinator. It is anticipated that over the next two fiscal years, the number of direct reports will increase as the team takes on new responsibilities. In partnership with Chief Deputy Auditor and Elections Office staff, this position will help determine the extent of the Elections team’s expansion and serve as a critical lead in advocating for resources, building the positions, and supporting onboarding of the newly hired team.

Four years of progressively responsible experience in a public agency or field related to the Auditor’s Office and/or in program management, including one year of experience in a supervisory role; OR a combination of education and experience in the areas of elections, campaign finance, voter education, or project or program management in a public agency.
