The USDA, ARS, Application Technology Research Unit (ATRU) in Wooster, OH, is seeking a permanent, full-time Research Plant Pathologist to develop sustainable management practices for diseases of horticultural crops, with an emphasis on controlled environment agriculture (CEA). The goal of this research is to develop information and novel approaches to reduce the impact of biotic and abiotic diseases in horticultural crops. The successful candidate will join a large and diverse group of scientists conducting research in horticulture, entomology, plant physiology, and agricultural engineering to produce information and technologies needed to enhance horticultural crop production in the U.S. and around the world.
