Job Description


The Enterprise Readiness & Enablement Office leader directs a centralized set of capabilities and frameworks to deliver organizational readiness and enablement strategies and execution for enterprise transformation, technology, business process and improvement initiatives. Capabilities managed include strategy and leadership alignment, learning & knowledge management, stakeholder analysis and executive reporting, communications and engagement, business process and policy alignment, business readiness and sustainability planning. This highly influential leader works with executive level leadership throughout program, modernization, transformation or initiatives. From strategic planning to execution aligning the proper EREO strategies and resources to enable initiative success and aligns with the program technology, business and external resources throughout the duration of the initiative.

This role is integral to leading a team of masterly level strategic communications, change management business process management and learning consultants and external strategic partners. This position has the responsibility of working across the Enterprise, including all business units, sites, and leaders to strategically position initiatives for success by applying the EREO framework enabling user adoption and return on investment for corporate investments. This leader serves as the single-point of contact for our client to monitor the impact and effectiveness of its major programs/roadmaps/transformations and initiatives.

Delivery & Execution of Large Transformations

  • Lead the organizational readiness, learning and change management for major business roadmaps, often directing external consultants and vendors, including large integrators. Responsible for serving on the leadership team of all major programs and providing direction and delivering results.
  • Provide quantitative dashboards and leadership alignment perspectives for both EREO programs and programs in the EREO pipeline and outside of the program showing effectiveness and stakeholder engagement and adoption.
  • Partner with Enterprise Performance Delivery, Compliance, PMO, Business Unit and affiliate performance improvement leaders to streamline stakeholder engagement and adoption across the 29k employees and thousands of our client's contractors.
  • Direct all capabilities within the EREO ensuring holistic delivery meeting EREO quality and creativity standards.

Enterprise Competency

  • Build, cultivate, and manage productive relationships with the business sponsors (Director through EVP/SVP level) and initiative / programs / projects stakeholders such that you become a trusted advisor to t hem and advocate for them within our client's company. Position lead consultants in the same manner.
  • Build a comprehensive enterprise framework and center of excellence/community of practice for change/performance organizations throughout the enterprise.
  • Develop and institutionalize a standard set of methodology and resources to be applied throughout the enterprise for change, learning and business process architecture.
  • Develop consistent methods for engaging with corporate communication, human resources, business units, affiliates and other key partners to encourage collaboration and collective delivery.
  • Leverage industry best practice to inform executives and operational leaders of tactics and tools that can be applied to improve return on investment for their initiatives.

Deliver Scalable EREO Services

  • Direct a portfolio of EREO initiatives, ensuring quality and timely delivery of innovative strategic deliverables and achieving expected results.
  • Develop demand forecasts, resource plans, and properly estimate work for all EREO initiatives. Each initiative budget for EREO can range from thousands to multi-million dollars. Through planning and resource management is required.
  • Lead the development multi-tiered, mule-department, multi-company complex learning curriculums and delivery plans.
  • Lead Communication & Engagement strategy through execution using diverse mediums and building out ambassador networks and enablers.
  • Build team competency to translate complex business goals and projects into intended outcomes, change impacts, and business readiness and change management plans.
  • Deliver world class leadership alignment metrics for senior executives, including executive sponsorship roadmaps, saturation issues and resistance management plans.
  • Consult with the stakeholders of small or medium size projects to offer an assessment of their change program resulting in EREO engagement or alignment. Manage so the enterprise benefits from the services regardless if they invest in full capability offerings.

Industry Leadership

  • Industry leader with proven track record of success. Industry certifications are a plus.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of emerging technology trends, including peers, business processes, financial measurements and performance indicators.
  • Champion change, learning, communications and performance capabilities with peers and the industry by benchmarking, sharing best practices and serving as a speaker at industry conferences.



  • BS, BA or BBA in Business, Technology or Communications
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Professional Certifications desirable in the fields of Project Management, Change Management or Business Process Management
  • At least 10 years’ experience across 3 or more of the following: Business Strategy, IT Strategy, Organizational Change Management, Project Management, Operations Management, and/or Performance Improvement
  • 8+ years’ experience in successfully developing & managing senior executive level relationships within complex environments.
  • 8 years’ experience in guiding executive level business decisions and supporting business analysis such as quantitative/ qualitative analysis, business case development, operations analysis, and/or other solutions within complex environments.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience supporting engagements the deliver complex strategy projects and initiatives with measurable results, working across organizational boundaries, and interfacing with senior executives.

  • Anticipate and mitigate obstacles to the successful delivery of this role with courage, passion, and humility demonstrating collaboration and effectiveness along the way.
  • Demonstrates mastery knowledge and skills in Organizational Change Management, Learning Communications or Performance Improvement
  • Experience leading one or more work streams in business strategy, strategic communications, organizational change, or learning in a major enterprise-wide initiative.
  • Proven excellent leadership skills managing large Teams and working effectively in matrixed organizations, often when resources may not report directly to the organization.
  • Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Must have a high degree of initiative and the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines as required. Must be flexible in dealing with changing priorities.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise-wide engagements to deliver complex initiatives to end-users/employees with measurable results, working across organizational boundaries, and interfacing with all
  • In depth understanding of enterprise-wide technology, business processes, policy and compliance considerations.
  • Highly effective written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Well versed in a breadth and depth of multiple change methods to improve or change performance with regards to scorecard metrics, change measurements, goals, and roadmaps.
  • Proven presentation and public speaking skills to inform, propose and influence decisions.
  • Experience managing business analytics such as quantitative and qualitative operations data, business case development, operational design and analysis and other solutions in matrix environments.
  • Leadership experience in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating large scale, multi-process, multi-business training curriculums.
  • Ability to develop strategies, analyze data, define options and implement decisions
  • Ability to multi task and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Effective at building and leveraging third party vendor relationships to achieve goals.
  • Performance management for teams including but not limited to goal setting, coaching and mentoring, candid and honest feedback, employee development, training and performance evaluations.
  • Ability to foster teamwork and influence decisions to achieve business results.
  • Experience recruiting, managing, inspiring, and developing a high performing and talented team. Experience leading a matrix team consisting of associates, contractors, and vendors with various skills and disciplines
