Molten Salt Chloride Analysis Intern
TerraPower, LLC. is seeking a highly motivated engineer with experience and interest in molten salt corrosion of structural materials. This effort will directly support the Molten Chloride Fast Reactor (MCFR) Program. In this role, the intern will test and analyze the corrosion of salt wetted components using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Electron Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS). The intern’s role will include interfacing with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers and provide evidence based feedback and the assessment of structural and cladding materials.
