- Set strategic direction for enterprise data management strategies, ensuring an enterprise approach is taken in defining data architecture, governance and relevant strategies to enable the organization to become more agile, innovative, and responsive to business needs. Develops data strategies designed to achieve the target architecture state and simplify the data and application landscape.
- Shepherd the data strategy, fostering a data-driven culture where data is managed and governed as a corporate asset that empowers FDIC staff to perform analysis, make timely decisions, support operations, and to conduct research at the strategic, tactical, and operational levels of the FDIC. In collaboration with other subject matter experts, develop strategies to support data integration services, and the use of data lakes, data warehouse, data marts, etc.
Prepares and presents briefings to senior leadership on complex and controversial issues. Communicate complex functional and technical requirements, issues, and problems to both technical and non-technical personnel in ways that are appropriate to the audience.
