Participate in the professional activities of the Association of American University Presses. 7. Serve on the Crisis Communication Committee. • Manager Supervision 1. Responsible for overseeing staff (Marketing and Sales Assistant). 2. Supervise student workers, student interns, and social media interns. • Travel 1. Attend annual Press retreat. 2. Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, public relations, or a closely related field. • One (1) year (12 months) of professional work experience in marketing, public relations, communications, brand management, or a related professional area. • Note: Master's Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year (12 months) of work experience. This position will oversee the design and production of compelling materials including print collateral, media releases, reports, e-newsletters, online content, and interactive engagement tools. The Senior Communication Strategist will work closely with the BPS Communications Team in support of PCEF's communications needs.
This position is one of two PCEF Senior Communication Strategists and will serve as the PCEF storyteller. The successful applicant will have the essential role of sourcing emergent examples of community work and showcasing stories that illustrate the impact of the fund. Working closely with PCEF communications staff and the BPS Communications teams, the Senior Communication Strategist will also organize and execute marketing, materials production, and media relations activities with discretion and awareness of intergovernmental and community issues. As a Senior Communications Strategist, you will:
• Plan and Implement communications needs: Meet regularly with PCEF communications team, community partners, and supervisor to understand critical needs, project goals, and timelines. About the Position:
This role is an on-campus, in-person position.
Serves as Assistant Director for University Athletic Bands, including, but not limited to Mustang Marching Band and Mustang Basketball band. Assists with daily administration of Athletic Bands and Diamond M Club. Oversees student workers as assigned. This position is an integral part of the SMU Spirit Leadership Team.
Essential Functions:
Assists Director of Mustang Band and Spirit Groups with all Athletic Band rehearsals and serves as Director in their absence. Maintains financial records as assigned. Assists with administration of Athletic Band program. Oversees student workers as assigned.
Maintains music licensing and oversees production of music arrangements for all Mustang Band events. May arrange music as assigned.
Serves on Spirit Leadership Team and attends weekly meetings. Serves on Summer Camp Leadership Team.
Works alongside Director of Mustang Band and Spirit Groups as a liaison to Diamond M Club and Development Office.
Coordinates non-football ensembles such as, but not limited to, Mustang Basketball Band including music selections and schedule.
Produces “Pigskin Revue” including schedules, ensuring music is arranged, and working with Homecoming Committee as needed.
Assist with Mustang Band recruiting and auditions. Participate in on and off campus recruiting events.
Attend appropriate professional development including, but not limited to Texas Bandmasters Association, Texas Music Educators Association, and College Band Directors National Association conferences.
Participate in assigned Division of Student Affairs events.
Athletic Band schedule is dictated by athletic events and do occur on evenings, weekends, and holiday weekends.
Travel to events in and out of state will be necessary.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
A Master's degree is required.
A minimum of three years of experience is required.
Experience with athletic band teaching and administration is required. Experience working as a High School Band Director is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate broadly across the University and develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of constituencies. Must also demonstrate strong written communication skills.
Candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze problems, as well as devise solutions. Must also have strong organizational, planning and time management skills.

About the Position:
This role is an on-campus, in-person position.
Serves as Assistant Director for University Athletic Bands, including, but not limited to Mustang Marching Band and Mustang Basketball band. Assists with daily administration of Athletic Bands and Diamond M Club. Oversees student workers as assigned. This position is an integral part of the SMU Spirit Leadership Team.
Essential Functions:
Assists Director of Mustang Band and Spirit Groups with all Athletic Band rehearsals and serves as Director in their absence. Maintains financial records as assigned. Assists with administration of Athletic Band program. Oversees student workers as assigned.
Maintains music licensing and oversees production of music arrangements for all Mustang Band events. May arrange music as assigned.
Serves on Spirit Leadership Team and attends weekly meetings. Serves on Summer Camp Leadership Team.
Works alongside Director of Mustang Band and Spirit Groups as a liaison to Diamond M Club and Development Office.
Coordinates non-football ensembles such as, but not limited to, Mustang Basketball Band including music selections and schedule.
Produces “Pigskin Revue” including schedules, ensuring music is arranged, and working with Homecoming Committee as needed.
Assist with Mustang Band recruiting and auditions. Participate in on and off campus recruiting events.
Attend appropriate professional development including, but not limited to Texas Bandmasters Association, Texas Music Educators Association, and College Band Directors National Association conferences.
Participate in assigned Division of Student Affairs events.
Athletic Band schedule is dictated by athletic events and do occur on evenings, weekends, and holiday weekends.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
A Master's degree is required.
A minimum of three years of experience is required.
Experience with athletic band teaching and administration is required. Experience working as a High School Band Director is preferred.

Position Summary:
Pennovation Works (PW) is a 23-acre site, with a distinctive blend of offices, labs, and production space developed by The University of Pennsylvania to support innovators, entrepreneurs, and industry partners who are engaged in solving real-world problems and translating inventions into viable ventures. Since its founding about five years ago, Pennovation Works has grown into a vibrant community of innovators with over 70 private companies, 11 Penn research entities, several corporate collaborators, and a wide range of University-supported incubation programs. Pennovation Works is currently anchored by three buildings, including: the Inventor Office Building, the Pennovation Lab, and the Pennovation Center (a business incubator that provides wet/dry lab space and acts as the nucleus for collaboration and the exchange of ideas for innovators from all disciplines).
The Communications Associate, Pennovation Works reports to the Managing Director (MD) of Pennovation Works, and is responsible for creating internal and external messaging to the administration, staff, faculty, students, community and professional groups coinciding with the strategic goals of Pennovation Works. Responsibilities include strategic planning, project management, benchmarking analysis and reports, and graphic design, photography, videography, copy writing, and copy editing to implement website updates, social media management and content creation, promotional messaging, presentations, e-newsletters and announcements, and special print and digital collateral/publications.

The HR Department provides County-side human resources services to County departments and employees, including recruitment and selection, personnel ordinance and policy administration, position classification and compensation, organizational development, employee training and development, benefits administration, risk management, workers compensation, liability and casualty claims management, human resources information systems, labor and employee relations and collective bargaining to over 2,500 employees, both represented and non-represented. The Executive Assistant acts as the first point of contact and key resource for internal and external customers as well as represents/communicates on behalf of the HR executive management team. Job Description The Kennedy Center’s Friends volunteer program consists of 400 regular as well as 2,500 Festival/Event volunteers whose work is essential to welcoming our audiences and guests from D.C. and around the world to the Center as well as provide support for many other activities and staff-based needs. The Manager of the Friends volunteer program is responsible for: Supervision and coordination of the day-today operations of the Friends Volunteer program including recruitment, training, scheduling and daily oversight of the volunteers who work 365 days a year; directly overseeing the NexGenFriends program for volunteers age 40 and under; administering all aspects of the Kennedy Center Friends-led tour program; managing the Friends Office, web/digital presence and volunteer management database. Report to and support the Director of the Friends Volunteers. Duties and Responsibilities Managing the day-to-day operations of the Friends program including: Recruitment of new volunteers, on-boarding/training, scheduling and on-site supervision of tour-guides, information desk, REACH, administrative office and all other volunteers. Staffing and administering the volunteer office administrative functions including managing all aspects of the volunteer lifecycle; maximizing the use of the volunteer management software and database; coordinating all volunteer needs and activities with staff across the Center including attending meetings, being a liaison between staff and volunteers, assist and provide administrative support to the Director of the Friends Volunteers; oversee the day-to-day activities of the Friends Coordinator; and overseeing production promotional/marketing-material for the program. Overseeing all aspects of the Tour program including promoting, scheduling, and coordinating tours offered, including Accessibility, Foreign Language, Group, REACH, Tours for Young People, VIP, New Hire tours for new employees as well as implementing new tour experiences. Streamline tour booking procedures for a web-based online tour booking system to enhance overall efficiency. Manage tour-related web content for accuracy and up-to-date information. Supervising the growth, diversification, and promotion of Friends volunteers by actively engaging and strategizing with communities across the D.C. metro area including the NexGenFriends (under 40) program, and other youth based programs to encourage volunteer support. Administer the Festival/Event volunteer programs from promotion and recruitment to scheduling and supervising volunteer needs for events such as Opera in the Outfield, all festivals, short-term projects, and special one-day activities. Coordinate these efforts with staff across the Center to ensure all needs are met and volunteers are appropriately engaged. Support and implement recognitions, benefits and initiatives for Friends and Festival/Event volunteers, as well as assist with the planning of annual recognition events including National Volunteer Week and the Volunteer Gala. Produce and oversee volunteer-related social media platform outreach and engagement; production and publication of 3 Friendscript volunteer newsletters annually. Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree; A minimum of four years' experience in the field of volunteer management required; A minimum of four years’ experience performing general administrative duties: knowledge of Microsoft Office suites. In-depth knowledge of social networking venues Knowledge of Better Impact, Volunteer Management software preferred Candidate must be local or willing to relocate to the DMV area. Work Environment Must be able to work in an open office environment; Must be able to work around varying noise levels; due to the location of the box tier of the Concert Hall, the noise level does increase when Millennium Stage performers are rehearsing in early afternoon.
