Ability to perform detailed information security risk assessments and recommend mitigating controls.

Position Summary
The Cloud Operations & Security Operations Manager leads the campus enterprise systems, storage, and cloud infrastructure to maintain a high level of security and availability. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Infrastructure & Operations, this key leadership position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining public and private cloud environments and systems. The role involves managing day-to-day operations, performing, and documenting architecture, and procedures including continuous monitoring implementation and enforcement of robust security measures. The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to align cloud strategies with institutional goals, providing strategic guidance on emerging technologies and best practices. The Cloud Systems, Operations & Security Manager will provide operational leadership and management of all functional areas of the Identity Management & Systems Operations unit of IRT. This comprises critical infrastructure associated with campus data center, disaster recovery (DR), and cloud infrastructure storage, servers, high availability, and backup systems. The incumbent is also responsible for the identity management (IDM) architecture and processes related to the management of information pertaining to people and their access to computerized systems.

Position Summary
The Cloud Operations & Security Operations Manager leads the campus enterprise systems, storage, and cloud infrastructure to maintain a high level of security and availability. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Infrastructure & Operations, this key leadership position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining public and private cloud environments and systems. The role involves managing day-to-day operations, performing, and documenting architecture, and procedures including continuous monitoring implementation and enforcement of robust security measures. The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to align cloud strategies with institutional goals, providing strategic guidance on emerging technologies and best practices. The Cloud Systems, Operations & Security Manager will provide operational leadership and management of all functional areas of the Identity Management & Systems Operations unit of IRT. This comprises critical infrastructure associated with campus data center, disaster recovery (DR), and cloud infrastructure storage, servers, high availability, and backup systems. The incumbent is also responsible for the identity management (IDM) architecture and processes related to the management of information pertaining to people and their access to computerized systems.
FLSA: Exempt (Not eligible for overtime compensation)
Anticipated Hiring Range: $9,000 per month - $11,000 per month, commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills, and training

Required Qualifications
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or discipline or equivalent experience. • Experience with running and maintaining applications, servers and other systems, along with programming and scripting [.NET, C#, PowerShell, Puppet, Chef, etc.] • Demonstrated experience serving in an IT leadership role, successfully leading projects, delivering services, and developing effective people and processes in cloud and on-premise systems services, storage, and identity management. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Minimum Qualifications
To enter this classification, a basic foundation of knowledge and skills in operating systems programs, maintenance, and systems administration features is a prerequisite. Instructional assignments will be consistent with the programmatic needs of the department and students.
The primary professional responsibilities of instructional faculty members are: teaching, research, scholarship, and creative activity; and service to the University, professional and to the community. These responsibilities include: advising students, participation in campus and system-wide communities, maintaining office hours, working collaboratively and productively with colleagues, and participation in traditional academic functions. Probationary faculty are typically provided ongoing mentorship to be a successful member of the faculty. PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: An earned Ph.D. or equivalent in Environmental Studies or related field from an accredited college or university is required at the time of appointment. If ABD, degree requirements must be completed by date of appointment.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality data solutions for HPN. In this role, the DBA will enable HPN to showcase the impact generated by its activities, social enterprises, and member organizations. This includes continually improving the quality, performance, and reliability of the HPN data warehouse to ensure that colleagues have the information they need to build data-informed solutions and communicate with both members and external parties, such as funders and policy makers.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in designing, building, and maintaining highly scalable and performance-oriented databases.
Perform established database operations policies, procedures, and processes.
Identify and troubleshoot database issues such as performance bottlenecks, data inconsistencies and security vulnerabilities.
Perform reliable system backup and restore operations in case of an outage or other unexpected occurrences.
Contribute to the development and optimization of SQL queries and scripts.
Participate in the creation of new and maintain existing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) pipeline processes.

HPN is a remote-first company. “Remote-first” is an organizational strategy that makes working remotely the primary option for most staff. ABOUT THE ROLE
The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality data solutions for HPN. In this role, the DBA will enable HPN to showcase the impact generated by its activities, social enterprises, and member organizations. This includes continually improving the quality, performance, and reliability of the HPN data warehouse to ensure that colleagues have the information they need to build data-informed solutions and communicate with both members and external parties, such as funders and policy makers.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in designing, building, and maintaining highly scalable and performance-oriented databases.
Perform established database operations policies, procedures, and processes.
Identify and troubleshoot database issues such as performance bottlenecks, data inconsistencies and security vulnerabilities.
Perform reliable system backup and restore operations in case of an outage or other unexpected occurrences.
Contribute to the development and optimization of SQL queries and scripts.
Participate in the creation of new and maintain existing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) pipeline processes.

Stay current with emerging database technologies and techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of MS SQL Server administration experience.

RFP: Online Engagement Temp, Turnaround Arts About Turnaround Arts Turnaround Arts was founded more than 10 years ago on the belief that by infusing the arts into daily schooling we can bring better days and joyful learning to K-8 students. Launched by the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities, Turnaround Arts has made its home at the nation’s performing arts center - The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts - since 2016. The network consists of 55 schools who are creating a comprehensive strategic approach to bring the arts to the forefront of their communities and celebrate the cultural wealth of their students. The program provides tangible arts education resources and services to each school, including arts supplies, musical instruments, school musicals, teacher training, and more to increase chances of success, engage communities, and raise the visibility of school achievements. Turnaround Arts is in the first year of a five-year strategic plan to clarify and reimagine the program, its structures, and its content. The Online Engagement Temp will be responsible for strategically creating a new network community of member schools. As the program is developed, more of the work will focus on strengthening each school’s ability to carry out the program’s goals, and managing engagement and partnership opportunities through this network community. We’ll also ensure that our focus remains on building teacher leadership, increasing arts education opportunities, and building a community of engaged and supportive partners and families to join the school on this journey. The Contract Turnaround Arts seeks an Online Engagement Temp to strategically lead the creation of a new online community of current school leaders and educators of 55 member schools across the country. This position supports the team in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in each community, such as principals, teachers, District leaders and community arts partners, advocating for the arts at the local and state level and continuing partner schools as the program enters its second decade. This role will work closely with the Turnaround Arts Operations Manager and Program team to develop the framework for our digital community . This includes the support of national arts initiatives, digital convenings, regional and local in-person events, and promoting a robust library of digital teaching tools and resources. This position supports the creation of strategies for robust onboarding and engagement within the digital community of our national network of educators and administrators, with an emphasis on our values of belonging and equity. Qualifications The Online Engagement Temp will be adept at relationship building, has a strong technical background in association network management , creating or supporting digital platfroms , will be adept at relationship building, and will have a proven track record of curating and customizing content that is responsive to stakeholder needs. The individual best suited to this role will have experience with social engagement strategies and technologies, particularly with cultural or community organizations/non profits. Knowledge of the arts, educational systems and culturally responsive education is a plus. RFP: Online Engagement Temp, Turnaround Arts About Turnaround Arts Turnaround Arts was founded more than 10 years ago on the belief that by infusing the arts into daily schooling we can bring better days and joyful learning to K-8 students. Launched by the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities, Turnaround Arts has made its home at the nation’s performing arts center - The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts - since 2016. The network consists of 55 schools who are creating a comprehensive strategic approach to bring the arts to the forefront of their communities and celebrate the cultural wealth of their students. The program provides tangible arts education resources and services to each school, including arts supplies, musical instruments, school musicals, teacher training, and more to increase chances of success, engage communities, and raise the visibility of school achievements. Turnaround Arts is in the first year of a five-year strategic plan to clarify and reimagine the program, its structures, and its content. The Online Engagement Temp will be responsible for strategically creating a new network community of member schools. As the program is developed, more of the work will focus on strengthening each school’s ability to carry out the program’s goals, and managing engagement and partnership opportunities through this network community. We’ll also ensure that our focus remains on building teacher leadership, increasing arts education opportunities, and building a community of engaged and supportive partners and families to join the school on this journey. The Contract Turnaround Arts seeks an Online Engagement Temp to strategically lead the creation of a new online community of current school leaders and educators of 55 member schools across the country. This position supports the team in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in each community, such as principals, teachers, District leaders and community arts partners, advocating for the arts at the local and state level and continuing partner schools as the program enters its second decade. This role will work closely with the Turnaround Arts Operations Manager and Program team to develop the framework for our digital community . This includes the support of national arts initiatives, digital convenings, regional and local in-person events, and promoting a robust library of digital teaching tools and resources. This position supports the creation of strategies for robust onboarding and engagement within the digital community of our national network of educators and administrators, with an emphasis on our values of belonging and equity.
