JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS:  The University of Alabama in Huntsville Department of Psychology is seeking applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Applied Experimental Psychology (e.g., Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Factors Psychology, or another applied area) to begin August 2018.  Teaching expectations include Introductory Psychology, undergraduate and graduate courses in research methods, as well as courses in the applicant’s area of specialization.  For Assistant Professor appointment, candidates must have a Ph.D. in Psychology, an active and promising research program specializing in an applied area of Experimental Psychology, and a record for developing contacts with local industries.  We seek applicants with a strong commitment to teaching, and a willingness to develop ties with the community.
