The Corporate Engagement Associate will help advance the mission of United Way of Central Indiana by: • Developing, retaining and significantly growing the level of financial support and commitment to United Way of Central Indiana (UWCI). • Maintaining and continuously developing relationships with key constituents at various levels within assigned corporate accounts and identify viable opportunities for additional involvement with UWCI. • Work closely with these constituents to plan, organize and implement employee giving and other United Way activities to ensure a successful, stronger and sustained United Way commitment. This position is also responsible for achieving annual fundraising goals and growth in engagement of donors and corporate efforts in their assigned portfolio within Team Force. Maintain consistent account contact and creatively explore and introduce additional UWCI opportunities, as appropriate (i.e. volunteerism, sponsorships, etc.). Leverage data to provide strategic, targeted account management and excellent customer service, leading to long-term strategic plans with aggressive goals. In coordination with the Senior Manager of Engagement for Team Force identify, cultivate and steward a portfolio of individual leadership donors within assigned accounts. Achieve donor call expectations (60 annually) and annual financial goals. • Internal Relationships: Work with UWCI's Community Impact and Fundraising teams to identify, develop and implement opportunities to communicate community impact work and UWCI goals and priorities to key stakeholders. Be knowledgeable about UWCI's work in Central Indiana and be an effective and compelling communicator to advance engagement and brand value. Ensure activity is recorded in CRM database in a timely manner. • Relationships: Develop and maintain regular contact with corporate account representatives and leadership within assigned portfolio. Identify and communicate with appropriate UWCI team members regarding opportunities to leverage these relationships more broadly. • Annual Goals: Achieve established goals for annual fundraising, engagement, and donor calls. Work with the Senior Manager of Engagement for Team Force to ensure goals reflect and align and contribute to the broader goals of the organization. • Flexibility: UWCI is evolving with our changing external environment. Flexibility is a key attribute for this position. Act as a liaison between the Strategic Information Department, internal partners (fundraising, marketing, and community impact) and external partners (including United Way’s accredited partner agencies). Support Strategic Information data collection and analysis on Accreditation, Impact Fund data analysis, and community data analysis.      Position Duties & Responsibilities Work closely with the Director of Strategic Research and Analytics and other members of the Strategic Information team to define and design analytical projects. Enter and maintain the most current and accurate information in UWCI’s database/SCRM on all assigned accounts such as but not limited to contact information, dates, pledges, giving and engagement results. Keep manager informed of progress and report any problems that may arise. The Director of Education Initiatives and Pathways will develop, implement, and scale strategies that ensure children and youth have access to a pathway of educational opportunities that prepare them later for the workforce. These may include but not be limited to early childhood education investments, K-12 programming and investments, out-of-school-time programming and investments, and experiential learning or internship opportunities. Specifically, the Director of Education Initiatives and Pathways will lead the implementation and execution of UWCI’s Early Childhood Education 5-year strategic plan while simultaneously providing visionary and strategic leadership for established and future programs, initiatives and investments within the K-12 and Out-of-School Time areas of focus. System-Level Collaboration:   The Director of Education Initiatives and Pathways will participate in community-wide efforts and represent UWCI on funding collaboratives, working groups, and meetings or community convenings and work in cooperation with nonprofit organizations, foundations, collaborative groups, and government agencies. The Director of Education Initiatives and Pathways will extract and leverage system-level collaboration to inform and shape UWCI’s execution of education-based initiatives and investments by analyzing and synthesizing information across a variety of sources to make recommendations to UWCI’s Impact Team Leadership and Executive Team. Leadership and Support:  The Director of Education Initiatives and Pathways will manage and lead select members of the Family Opportunity Team (education-based) by providing direct oversight, visionary guidance, collaborative leadership, and hands-on support for short- and long-term projects, programs, initiatives, and investments. Convening and Engaging with Partners:  The Director of Education Initiatives and Pathways will regularly convene and engage with education-based partners, community-based organizations, system-level intermediaries, and other stakeholders to uplift best practices, and identify new solutions that inform and shape UWCI’s education-based efforts. Grantmaking Support : The Director of Education Initiatives and Pathways will review and assess grant proposals, conduct site visits to grantees and potential grantees to assess program relevance and organizational integrity, provide technical assistance to current and potential grantees, and assess organizational stability and scalability. Additionally, the Director of Education Initiatives and Pathways will assist in reviewing and approving funded grantees’ evaluation reports and monitor grantees’ progress in achieving key objectives and outcomes. Integration and Collaboration : The Director of Education Initiatives and Pathways will collaborate in an intentional and forward-thinking way with external partners and stakeholders, and internal partners within and across the organization to maximize the impact of the UWCI's resources.
