Clean Air Carolina has grown from a volunteer organization in 2003 to a full staff and strong corps of active volunteers working for clean air and climate change solutions.
Our mission is to ensure cleaner air quality for all North Carolinians through education and advocacy and by working with our partners to reduce sources of pollution. We are based in Charlotte with a satellite office in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
North Carolina has its share of air pollution issues from ozone in the Charlotte region to air toxics in rural areas from industrial sources. Clean Air Carolina engages donors, volunteers, businesses, health professionals and others in mobilizing communities to speak out for improved air quality.
