Manage Worker's Compensation/Labor and Industry Claims in partnership with Human Resources, including reviewing and processing claims, ensuring program conformance to applicable laws and regulations, preparing required reports, and monitoring and evaluating the program activities to ensure the delivery of quality and efficient services in the best interest of the College and its employees. Respond to strategies, and take appropriate action to resolve issues/concerns; advise injured employees of their benefits. Stay abreast of trends and innovations in the field of workers' compensation administration and stay current on legislative and regulatory issues at the State and Federal level.
Manage the Modified Duty and Return to Work Program, accident logs, OSHA 300 preparation and other relevant reports.
Administer College's driver's requirement and authorization program.
Conduct accident investigations. Determine causes; determine whether current standards are adequate to prevent a recurrence; develop recommendations for internal procedures in situations where existing standards are inadequate.
Ensure the maintenance of college hazardous materials inventory and Material Safety Data Sheets.
Direct the development of environmental health and safety policy. Support supervisors to ensure compliance.
Participate in college's Environmental Health and Safety Committee.
Direct or prepare required regulatory reports including air emissions, hazardous waste, WISHA reporting and other relevant reporting processes.
Oversee college-wide environmental sustainability program.
Serve as an active member of the Emergency Management Planning Committee to develop, respond, and maintain emergency management efforts. Actively maintain a collaborative and resource sharing practice between environmental health and safety and emergency management.
Develop and monitor program budgets and approve expenditures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelor's degree AND four years' work experience in a safety, health and/or environmental regulatory capacity in a complex organization OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA regulations.
Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in environmental health, environmental science, or closely related science or safety field.
Demonstrated knowledge of WISHA regulations.
Supervisory experience.
