Frasca International, Inc. is a manufacturer of flight simulators and training devices used to train pilots worldwide. The family owned company is located on Frasca Field, A FBO just north of I-74 in Urbana, IL. The company has led the industry in the development of cost effective simulation for single and twin reciprocating engine, pure jet and turbopropeller fixed wing simulation , and helicopter simulation. Witnin the last fifteen years, FII has developed a significant custom simulator market as well. Frasca has customers in the U.S. and over 70 other countries. Currently there are about 190 employees combined between the manufacturing facility and the airport. Included in this group are aeronautical, software, electrical, graphics, and mechanical engineers along with various manufacturing positions. Positions with Frasca require candidates to be either a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. A wide variety of design and development work is done in each of these areas. In addition to the actual Flight Training Device's, Frasca manufacture's its own line of visual systems and their widely used Graphical Instructor Station (know as GIST).
