We have an excellent opportunity due to our recent increase in business for a results oriented Production Supervisor located at our Tifton, Georgia plant.
Duties to include but are not limited to:
Observes and monitors operations with the expectation that accident prevention is absolutely achievable. Possesses the knowledge and professionalism to consistently enforce safety rules, educate employees, and set an example of safe work place practices.
Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product, and operating or production problems. Develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to improve product quality.
Qualifications:
All interested candidates must have a Bachelors degree
We will consider individuals with commensurate operational and leadership experience that may be in a current production supervisory role.2 to 5years of experience deploying lean and 5s techniques.
Successful candidates will have excellent communication, interpersonal and management skills.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly desired.

Job Requirements:
Duties to include but are not limited to:
Production supervisors are responsible for the success of a department (value stream),managing and motivating approximately 15-30 employees leading them to achieving the safety, productivity and quality goals. This includes scheduling products, coordinating internal transportation and supplies. Additional qualifications consist of verifying daily inventories, enforcing company policies including disciplinary and planning meetings as required. Production supervisors make most departmental decisions.
