City of Tallahassee

Tallahassee is home to nearly 200,000 residents. It is home to two premier universities: Florida State University and FAMU. Tallahassee is the county seat and the only incorporated municipality within Leon County. The City of Tallahassee is one of the areas largest employers. We currently employ over 3,000 people and have a diverse workforce. The City is comprised of 29 departments, including Environmental Services and Facilities, Electric & Gas Utilities, Underground Utilities & Public Infrastructure.
