* Supports the development and implementation of technical solutions to the IT needs of the Corporation's Divisions, at its Field Offices nationwide.
* Supports and coordinates the implementation of major IT improvement programs, renovations, and service implementations within the Regional and Field Offices of the FDIC.
* Serves as the principal focal point for DIT IT and telecommunications services provided in the Field Offices of the Corporation.
* Serves as the designated DIT Field Office Representative (FOR) to implement the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
* Monitors the operation and functions of the local area networks (LAN) within the Field Offices(s), and the integration of such LANs with the Regional Office networks and other telecommunications systems.
* Supports and implements hardware, software and network configuration of the client server environment of all systems within the Field Office of his/her responsibility.
* Prepares operational specifications and procedures for implementation of systems at the Field Office level. Specifies hierarchical structure and systems configuration interface plans for deployed systems in the Field Office (s).
* Consults with and advises clients of IT considerations with respect to overall FDIC functions in support of IT activities and in satisfying current information requirements.
* Advises and coordinates with other Division management at the Field and Regional Office level, and with DIT management at the Regional and Headquarter level, of the operational status of all IT and telecommunication systems assets in the Field Office(s).
* Monitors and analyzes evolving IT requirements of his/her clients in the Field Office(s)Proposes specific changes to the IT infrastructure requirement at his/her Field Offices) to DIT HQ based upon analyses of the client Division's needs in the Field Office(s).
* Performs analyses of operational requirements in the Field Office(s) as compared to the clients stated needs.
Employee may be relocated to any duty location to meet management needs.
High Risk Position – Background Investigation (BI) required.

You must have Information Technology (IT)-related experience which demonstrates proficiency in each of the following competencies:
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade 12 level in the Federal Service as described below:
Specialized experience is hands-on experience in all areas of troubleshooting and resolving issues with Microsoft (MS) Software including Windows Operating System and MS Office Suite; remote access capabilities; repairing laptops, desktops, and printers; imaging of workstations; and networking consisting of configuring and troubleshooting workstations to connect to wired and wireless networks.
There is no substitution of education for the experience for this position.
