The shared services team includes three unique and boundary pushing departments – Chamber, Classical New Music, and Jazz; Comedy and Institutional Programming, and Hip Hop Culture and Contemporary Music, allowing for exciting cross-discipline collaboration with an emphasis on work with Artistic Directors Renée Fleming, Jennifer Koh, Jason Moran, and Q-Tip. The Manager, Programming oversees the operations of the Shared Services department, managing staffing, logistics, and internal communications in support of the Kennedy Center’s Chamber, Classical New Music, and Jazz; Comedy and Institutional Programming, and Hip Hop Culture and Contemporary Music Departments. Monitor trends from past seasons to advise on future season programming decisions. Manage “PodSquad” date allocation among Chamber, Classical New Music, and Jazz; Hip Hop Culture and Contemporary Music; and Comedy and Institutional Programming in the planning calendar(s) in coordination with Campus Planning. Represent and advocate for all departments in venue calendar meetings. Line produce festivals, concerts, and events. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Internal team management, talent procurement, artist advance, contracting, coordinating production elements, hiring production staff, and other duties as needed per event. Liaise between outside organizations and internal departments including marketing, digital, PR, government relations, and development. Create and manage budgets for large-scale projects. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge equivalent to that which would normally be acquired by completing a four-year college program in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing; up to six months of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in professional fundraising, public relations, marketing, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor’s degree; Business, Communications, Marketing, Non-Profit Management, and/or Public Relations preferred; demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills. At least two years of full-time professional experience in professional fundraising, public relations, marketing, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge equivalent to that which would normally be acquired by completing a four-year college program in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing; up to six months of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in professional fundraising, public relations, marketing, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor’s degree; Business, Communications, Marketing, Non-Profit Management, and/or Public Relations preferred; demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills. At least two years of full-time professional experience in professional fundraising, public relations, marketing, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Travel is required throughout the year both in-state and out-of-state. Possession of a valid vehicle operator’s license.

Job Description
The University of Nevada, Reno seeks a dynamic professional to fill the Specialist, Communication position for the Office of the President.
The Specialist, Communication is responsible for managing the communication, web, and social media platforms for the Office of the President ensuring the highest standards. This position manages incoming inquiries, comments, and concerns and writes emails, letters, and other tailored correspondence in response. The Specialist must represent the President with appropriate tone and style. The Specialist recognizes individual political sensitivity, trending issues, and personalized nature required of each communication. The Specialist also serves as an event coordinator for the Office of the President with responsibility to ensure the details of the event are well planned and executed and the President is well-prepped for his event obligations.
The position will additionally analyze and prepare data on behalf of the President for internal decision-making and reports to the Board of Regents and other University stakeholders. This position will provide executive support to the Chief of Staff and will support the Director of Special Projects and Assistant to the President on priority projects and needs.
The Specialist will demonstrate an attention to detail, professional attitude, ability to maintain confidentiality, and ability to keep pace with a fast-paced work environment.

Job Description The Public Relations Coordinator is a frontline representative of the Kennedy Center Public Relations team, working internally across departments and externally with media, vendors, patrons, and others to coordinate day-to-day operations of the PR department. This position is an essential partner to the Director of Public Relations and the entire team in generating high-impact news coverage of the Kennedy Center’s activities and positively reinforcing the Kennedy Center brand. Primary responsibilities include gathering materials, editing, and managing approval of programs and digital materials; managing image requests; developing and managing media lists; daily monitoring of news clips; and administrative tasks including press release scheduling, budget tracking, invoicing, and contracting. The coordinator will also assist with PR campaigns across the Center’s work to include writing of media releases and advisories, press invitations and ticketing/seating, media outreach and pitching, and assisting with in-studio and on-site media interviews with Kennedy Center artists. As the 2023-2024 season rolls out, and in future seasons, the coordinator’s work will focus on support for the PR efforts theater, ballet/dance, jazz, hip hop, Social Impact, and education. Key Responsibilities Coordinates process for creation of programs. The coordinator creates and manages the overall digital program content schedule, including setting dates and deadlines, and liaising with program production staff. Gathers materials, edits per Kennedy Center style, routes internally and externally, and gives final approval. Involves interns in office projects and activity as appropriate. Manages administrative tasks including media contact lists, media invitations and RSVP tracking, press release scheduling, budget tracking, invoicing, contracting, media monitoring, photography processing on the Center’s media site, and travel booking. Reviews and deploys daily clip reports. Takes inventory and orders office supplies as needed. Acts as an assistant supervisor to guide the office’s pair of interns in the day to day office practices. Assists with PR storytelling efforts across the Center. Liaises with programming, marketing, development, and education colleagues as well as researching and pitching media. Services patron inquiries and third-party requests for images and materials, including non-commercial photography and documentary requests. Collaborates with Legal Counsel, the Director of Public Relations, and VP of Public Relations to create photography/location agreements for location shoots and asset licensing. Other duties as assigned. Key Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree is required Background in or knowledge of the performing arts. Excellent writing and copyediting skills, as well as experience with publications required. 2+ years professional experience in media relations, communications, and/or publications preferred. Working familiarity of digital media landscape and strategy a plus. Microsoft Office Suite, be able to learn and adapt to changing technology Additional Information While located primarily at the Kennedy Center, this role will have the ability for a partial flexible schedule, including the ability to arrange for limited work-from-home, as duties and event/performance schedule allows. Travel up to 2% may be required (i.e.-off-site press events).
