The Portland Bureau of Transportation is currently looking for an Assistant Program Specialist (APS) to improve our customer service processes with one of our hotlines: 503-823-SAFE. This hotline is the intake point for non-urgent traffic safety and livability calls, emails, and other correspondence to initiate investigations for traffic safety and operational improvements. At PBOT we recognize that 823-SAFE is a complaint based system that is not used equally by all neighborhoods and communities, and we are therefore applying an equity lens to help inform program improvements.
Experience in TrackIT, MAXIMO, and GIS are preferred but not required
